About Us
We are located in an old carpenters workshop, built into the rocks in Competa's white washed village over 200 years ago in the region of Malaga, Spain. We prepare all food fresh and specialize in grilled meats on the BBQ cooked by our very own Argentinian chef. We source as much of our food locally when possible. El Pilon is a relaxed kind of place where you can enjoy the views, a lovely bottle of wine, and conversations with friends and family.

This place is magnificent. After many years of travelling to competa the food standard is always amazing. The steak is amazing and the only place on the planet where every time I order it is cooked to perfection on the outside grill. They are great with the kids and Danny is always massively accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend that you book the terrace to soak in the incredible views of the campo.
